INGREDIENTS

  • half cup granulated sugar
  • 1.5 tsp cornstarch
  • a quarter cup cider vinegar
  • 3 cups beets
  • 2 tbsp butter

TOOLS

  • 1 pan
  • 1 colander
  • 1 pot
  • 1 spoon
  • 1 knife

STEPS

Cut beets into cubes.



Boil 4 cups of water in a pan for 4 minutes.



Add cubed beets to the boiling water.



Cook the beets for 26 minutes.



Drain cooked beets in a colander.



In a pot, combine the sugar, cornstarch, and cider vinegar. Use a spoon to stir the mixture. Cook for 5 minutes after adding a quarter cup of water. Pour in the drained beets and butter. To make a beet dish, stir once more and then remove from the heat..
