  • 2 tbsp canola oil
  • 4 red onions
  • 7 oz green lentils
  • 2 tbsp rosemary
  • 1 tbsp vegetable broth cubes
  • 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 12 oz celeriac
  • 12 oz rutabagas
  • 12 oz potatoes
  • 11 oz broccolis
  • 11 oz spinach
  • 1.8 oz parmesan cheese

  • 1 peeler
  • 1 grater
  • 1 pan
  • 1 spoon
  • 1 bowl
  • 1 saucepan
  • 1 kettle
  • 1 hand blender
  • 4 pie dishes
  • 1 grill


Peel the red onions. Slice the thinly peeled onions. Chop the rosemary.

Peel celeriac, rutabagas, and potatoes using a peeler.

Cut the celeriac, rutabagas and potatoes .

Shred the parmesan cheese using a grater.

Put 4 cups of water in the kettle to get boiling water, then turn it off.

Put 1.5 tbsp of canola oil in a pan and warm it up. Add sliced onions to the pan and stir with a spoon. Cook for 8 minutes. Then, add green lentils, vegetable broth cubes, balsamic vinegar, chopped rosemary to the pan. Add boiling water to the pan and stir with a spoon again. Cook for 40 minutes then stop heating the mixture to get lentils mixture.

Put 8 cups of water in a saucepan and boil for 3 minutes. Add celeriac dices, rutabagas dices, potatoes dices to the saucepan. Cook for 13 minutes then add 6 oz of broccolis to the saucepan and cook for 12 minutes. Next put half tbsp of canola oil in a new saucepan and put 6 oz of spinach in it. Cook for 2 minutes then stop heating the saucepan. Blend the contents in the saucepan using a hand blender for 2 minutes to get mashed veg..

Divide the lentils mixture and mashed veg into pie dishes. Scatter grated hard cheese over the pie dishes.

Put 6 oz of broccolis and spinach in a bowl. Mix the contents of the bowl using a spoon to get a salad.

Heat the grill for three minutes to get it hot.

Put the pie dishes in a hot grill and grill for 3 minutes to get a cheese and vegetables lentil based pie.

Stop the grill.
