INGREDIENTS

  • 6 potatoes
  • half cup olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • a quarter tsp black pepper

TOOLS

  • 1 saucepan
  • 1 colander
  • 1 peeler
  • 1 knife
  • 1 bowl
  • 1 tongs
  • 1 spoon
  • 1 gas grill
  • 1 serving plate

STEPS

Place the potatoes in a saucepan and cover with water. Turn on the heat and boil for 25 minutes. Then turn off the heat.



Drain the boiled potatoes in a colander.



Gently rub the surface of each potato to remove the skin.



Slice the peeled potatoes lengthwise.



Put the potato slices in a bowl. Add olive oil, salt and black pepper. Stir with a spoon to coat the potatoes.



Heat a gas grill for 5 minutes to get a hot grill.



Place the potato slices on the hot grill for 5 minutes to get semi-grilled potato slices.



Turn the semi-cooked potato slices using tongs.



Cook the potatoes for another 5 minutes to get golden brown potatoes, then turn off the heat.



Transfer the golden brown potatoes to a serving plate.
