INGREDIENTS

  • 1 pitta bread
  • 4 slices halloumi cheese
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • ¼ onions
  • 1 half tomatoes
  • ¼ lemons
  • 2 oregano leaves
  • 1 lettuce leave
  • 4 black olives

  • 1 squeezer
  • 1 frying pan
  • 1 plate
  • 1 spatula
  • 1 sandwich grill
  • 1 serving plate
  • 1 wooden spoon

STEPS

Slice the pitta bread. Peel and slice onion. Then, slice the tomatoes.


Squeeze the lemon using a squeezer.


Heat three-quarters of the olive oil in a frying pan. Then, using a wooden spoon, mix in the onions. To get cooked onions, cook for 3 minutes.


Transfer cooked onions to a plate.


Put the remaining olive oil in the frying pan and add halloumi cheese. Fry for 2 minutes to get semi-fried halloumi cheese.


Flip the semi-fried halloumi cheese using a spatula.


Fry for another 2 minutes and turn off the heat to get fried halloumi.


Put fried halloumi cheese in the sliced pitta bread and sprinkle oregano leaves on it. Then, add lemon juice, tomatoes, and onions to get a halloumi cheese sandwich.


Put the halloumi cheese sandwich on a sandwich grill. Turn on the grill for 3 minutes to get a grilled halloumi sandwich.


Put the grilled halloumi sandwich on a serving plate. Top it with lettuce leaves, black olives, and halloumi cheese.
