INGREDIENTS

  • 2 vegetarian hot dogs
  • 2 hot dog buns
  • 1 onion
  • 1 tsp sunflower oil
  • 1 tsp butter
  • ½ tsp brown sugar
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 3 ounces cream cheese

TOOLS

  • 1 knife
  • 1 pan
  • 1 plate
  • 1 skillet
  • 1 pot
  • 1 oven toaster
  • 1 toaster tray
  • 2 wooden spoons

STEPS

Peel and slice an onion.

To get cooked hot dogs, heat 2.1 cups of water in a pan, add vegetarian hot dogs, and cook for 4 minutes.

Transfer the cooked hot dogs to a plate.

In a skillet, heat the sunflower oil and butter. For 10 minutes, stir in the sliced onions and brown sugar using a wooden spoon. Season with salt and black pepper and remove from heat to get caramelized onions.

Turn on the heat and add the cream cheese to a pot. For 3 minutes, stir the cheese with a wooden spoon until it is melted.

Heat an oven toaster for 2 minutes.

Put hot dog buns in a toaster tray. Transfer the toaster tray to the oven for 5 minutes until lightly browned.

Spread melted cheese to the toasted hot dog buns, add cooked hot dogs and top with caramelized onions.

It’s ready to be served !
