This gluten-free, egg-free, nut-free and soy-free no meat tater tot casserole is a flavourful side dish made with onions, cream of celery soup, tater tots and cheddar cheese.

- ¼ tsp black pepper
- 1 onion
- 3 stalks celery sticks
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 10½ oz cream of celery soup
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 3 tbsp half-and-1 half cream
- 32 oz tater tots
- 1 cup cheddar cheese
- 1 knife
- 1 grater
- 1 mixing bowl
- 1 spoon
- 1 casserole dish
- 1 pam
- 1 saucepan
- 1 oven
Peel and chop the onion. Chop the celery sticks.
Shred the cheddar cheese with a grater.
Drizzle olive oil over a saucepan and turn on the heat. Add the chopped onions and chopped celery sticks and cook for 6 minutes to get sauteed veggies. Then remove from the heat.
Transfer the sauteed veggies to a mixing bowl. Add the cream of celery soup, half-and-half cream, garlic powder, and black pepper. Mix with a spoon until well combined, then add the tater tots. Mix again with a spoon to get a tater tots mixture.
Spray a casserole dish with pam. Pour the tater tots mixture into the casserole dish and sprinkle the shredded cheddar on top.
Preheat the oven to 390°F for 17 minutes.
Place the casserole dish in a hot oven and bake for 50 minutes.
Turn off the heat and remove the casserole dish from the oven.
