INGREDIENTS

  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • ½ oz cooking spray
  • 1 cup skim milk
  • 2 tsp cornstarch
  • ¼ tsp cayenne pepper
  • ½ cup onions
  • 4 potatoes
  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese

TOOLS

  • 1 knife
  • 1 peeler
  • 1 oven
  • 1 saucepan
  • 1 wooden spoon
  • 1 grater
  • 1 baking dish
  • 1 aluminum foil

STEPS

Shred the parmesan cheese with a grater.

Peel and chop the onions.

Peel the potatoes with a peeler.

Cut the peeled potatoes into slices.

Pour the skimmed milk into a saucepan and turn on the heat. Add the cornstarch, cayenne pepper, and black pepper to the saucepan. Stir with a wooden spoon and cook for 4 minutes. Then add the chopped onions and stir with a wooden spoon for another 3 minutes to get an onion sauce. Remove from the heat.

Preheat the oven to 350°F for 15 minutes.

Spray a baking dish with cooking spray. Place half of the potato slices in the baking dish and sprinkle with half of the grated parmesan cheese. Pour the onion sauce over it, then place the rest of the potato slices on top. Sprinkle with the remaining parmesan cheese. Cover with aluminum foil and put in a hot oven. Bake for 40 minutes. Then remove from the oven and remove the aluminum foil.

Return the baking dish to the oven and bake for 10 minutes. Then turn off the heat and remove from the oven.

It’s ready to be served !
