INGREDIENTS

  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 2¼ lbs potatoes
  • ⅓ cup dried sage leaves
  • 1 tbsp lemon
  • 1½ tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • ½ oz cooking spray

  • 1 saucepan
  • 1 lid
  • 1 colander
  • 1 knife
  • 1 zester
  • 1 bowl
  • 1 spoon
  • 1 baking dish

STEPS

Chop dried sage leaves, then peel and chop garlic.


Zest a lemon with a zester.


Heat a saucepan, add potatoes and 5 cups of cold water. Cover with a lid and cook for 10 minutes to get cooked potatoes. Then, turn off the heat and remove the lid.


Drain cooked potatoes in a colander.


Cut the potatoes into quarters.


Combine olive oil, dried sage leaves, garlic, lemon zest, 1 tbsp of water, and half tsp of black pepper in bowl with a spoon.


Spray a baking dish with cooking spray. Put quartered potatoes and sage mixture to the baking dish, then mix well with a spoon.


Preheat the oven to 390°F for 12-15 minutes.


Put the baking dish in the oven and bake for 45 minutes.


Take it out of the oven and turn off the heat to get roasted potatoes with sage and lemon.
