INGREDIENTS

  • 2 sweet potatoes
  • 1.5 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • half tsp chili powder
  • half tsp onion powder

TOOLS

  • 1 knife
  • 1 oven
  • 1 cookie sheet
  • 1 parchment paper
  • 1 bowl
  • 1 spoon

STEPS

Peel sweet potatoes and cut them lengthwise into 1/3-inch strips.


Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.


Combine olive oil, ground cumin, chili powder, and onion powder in a bowl. Stir in sweet potato strips with a spoon.


Transfer the sweet potato strips to the cookie sheet.


Preheat the oven to 390°F for 12-15 minutes.


Put the cookie sheet in the oven and bake for 15 minutes.


Remove the cookie sheet from the oven to get spicy baked sweet potato sticks.
