INGREDIENTS

  • 31 oz can of black beans
  • 1 half tsp granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 half tsp chili powder
  • 1 half tsp garlic powder
  • 6 tbsp tortilla chips
  • Three quarters tsp salt
  • A quarter tsp black pepper

TOOLS

  • 1 plastic bag
  • 1 saucepan
  • 1 spoon
  • 1 serving plate

STEPS

Crush tortilla chips in a plastic bag with a spoon.


In a saucepan, combine a can of black beans, granulated sugar, ground cumin, salt, black pepper, chili powder, and garlic powder. Stir with a spoon and simmer for 25 minutes, then turn off the heat to get spicy black beans.


Transfer the spicy black beans to a serving plate and add crushed tortilla chips to it.
