INGREDIENTS

  • 6 oz cream cheese
  • 4 oz monterey jack cheese
  • 10 jalapeño peppers
  • ½ cup whole milk
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs
  • ½ cup vegetable oil

  • 1 saucepan
  • 1 box grater
  • 1 wooden spoon
  • 1 colander
  • 1 paper towel
  • 4 bowls
  • 1 plate
  • 1 slotted spoon
  • 1 skillet pan

STEPS

Cut jalapeno peppers in half and deseed them.


Shred monterey jack cheese with a box grater.


Put cream cheese and monterey jack cheese in a bowl. Stir the cheese together with a wooden spoon to get a cheese mixture.


Heat 8 cups of water in a saucepan for 2 minutes. Add jalapeno peppers and cook for 2 minutes on medium heat.


Rinse the jalapeno peppers with cold water, then drain them in a colander.


Put whole milk in a bowl.


Put all-purpose flour in a bowl.


Fill jalapeno peppers with the cheese mixture.


Dip stuffed jalapeno peppers in the milk bowl, then dust them with the flour mixture.


Transfer the floured jalapeno peppers to a plate and set them aside for 10 minutes.


Put breadcrumbs in a bowl.


Dip floured jalapeno peppers in the milk bowl, and dip them in the breadcrumbs bowl to get breaded-stuffed jalapeno peppers.


Transfer breaded-stuffed jalapeno peppers to a plate and set them aside for 10 minutes.


Dip breaded-stuffed jalapeno peppers in a bowl of water, then once again coat them in breadcrumbs.


Heat vegetable oil in a skillet pan on medium temperature. Transfer the breaded-stuffed jalapeno peppers to the pan and cook for 2 minutes.


Flip breaded-stuffed jalapeno peppers with a slotted spoon.


Cook for 3 minutes and turn off the heat to get deep-fried jalapeno peppers.


Drain deep-fried jalapeno peppers poppers on a paper towel. Then, transfer them to a plate to get jalapeno poppers.
