INGREDIENTS

  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 cup chickpea flour
  • 4 tbsp olive oil
  • ½ tsp rosemary
  • 1 half onion

TOOLS

  • 1 knife
  • 1 kettle
  • 1 bowl
  • 1 oven
  • 1 whisk
  • 2 skillet pan
  • 1 cling film
  • 1 plate

STEPS

Peel and slice an onion, then chop rosemary.

Boil a cup of water in a kettle. Then, set it aside for 2-3 minutes to get warm water.

Combine chickpea flour, rosemary, salt, black pepper, 2 tbsp of olive oil, and warm water in a bowl with a whisk. Cover the bowl with cling film, and set it aside for 30 minutes. Remove cling film, add onion slices, and whisk to get a batter.

Preheat the oven to 450°F for 12-15 minutes.

Heat a skillet pan in the oven for 15 minutes, take it out and drizzle with 2 tbsp of olive oil. Transfer the batter to the pan and put it back in the oven for 15 minutes to get a farinata.

Cut the farinata into slices.

Transfer the farinata to a plate.

It’s ready to be served !
