INGREDIENTS
- 1 tbsp granulated sugar
- 1½ tsp salt
- 3¾ cups bread flour
- 1 tbsp yeast
- ½ oz cooking spray

- 1 bowl
- 1 brusher
- 1 knife
- 1 spoon
STEPS
Put 1.25 cups of water, granulated sugar, salt, 3.5 cups of bread flour, and yeast in a bread machine. Turn on the bread machine on the dough cycle for 60 minutes to get a dough.
Dust a quarter cup of bread flour on a board to get a floured surface.
Put the dough on the floured surface and shape it into a rectangle.
Spray a baking sheet with cooking spray and transfer the bread dough to it.
Preheat the oven to 400°F for 12-15 minutes.
Combine 2 tbsp of water and half a tsp of salt in a bowl with a spoon to get a salt mixture.
Brush the bread dough with the salt mixture.
Snip the bread dough surface with a knife.
Put the baking sheet in the oven and bake for 25 minutes to get french bread.
