INGREDIENTS

  • ¾ tsp salt
  • ½ oz cooking spray
  • ¼ cup evaporated milk
  • ½ cup whole milk
  • 1 egg
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 5 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3 tsp yeast
  • ¼ cup breadcrumbs

TOOLS

  • 1 bread machine
  • 1 baking sheet
  • 1 bowl
  • 1 microwave
  • 1 oven
  • 1 tea towel
  • 1 wooden spoon
  • 1 scoop spoon
  • 1 platter
  • 1 saucepan

STEPS

Combine half a cup of water with evaporated milk and whole milk in a bowl with a wooden spoon. Put the bowl in the microwave and turn it on for 35 seconds. Turn off the microwave and take out the bowl to get a milk mixture.


Add an egg to the milk mixture and stir again.


Add all-purpose flour, yeast, sugar, salt, butter, and oil to the bowl and mix to get a sticky dough.


Put the sticky dough into the bread machine and turn it on for 15 minutes to get a dough.


Spray a baking sheet with cooking spray.


Put breadcrumbs in a platter.


Scoop the dough into dough balls.


Roll the dough balls into the breadcrumbs.


Cover the dough with a tea towel and leave it to double in size.


Preheat the oven to 375°F for 12-15 minutes.


Put the baking sheet in the oven and bake for 10-15 minutes.


Turn off the heat and take the baking sheet out of the oven to get pandesal bread.
