INGREDIENTS

  • three quarters tsp salt
  • 2 potatoes
  • half rutabagas
  • 3 carrots
  • 0.9 oz unsalted butter

TOOLS

  • 1 knife
  • 1 potatoes masher
  • 1 spoon
  • 1 large pan
  • 1 colander
  • 1 large bowl
  • 1 plate

STEPS

Peel potatoes, rutabagas, and carrots then cut them into chunks.



Heat a large pan and add 3 liters of water to it. Add a quarter tsp of salt, potatoes, rutabagas, and carrots to the pan. Boil for 20 minutes or until fork tender.



Drain cooked vegetables in a colander.



In a large bowl, mash the drained vegetables with a potato masher. Add unsalted butter and half a tsp of salt to the bowl then stir with a spoon. Transfer root vegetable mash to a plate..
