Vegan brownies are a delicious American snack made with all purpose flour, brown sugar, granulated sugar, cocoa powder, vegetable oil and walnuts. Chocolate chips add an extra tartness to this scrumptious egg-free treat.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp canola oil
  • 2 cup all purpose flour
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • three quarters cup cocoa powder
  • half cup vegetable oil
  • half tsp baking powder
  • half cup walnuts
  • half cup chocolate chips

  • 1 wooden spoon
  • 1 knife
  • 1 platter

STEPS

Chop the walnuts with a knife.



Pour 1 cup of water in a saucepan and heat it. Add 1 cup of all purpose flour to the saucepan and stir it with a wooden spoon for 2 minutes on low heat. Cook it for 3 more minutes, stirring occasionally. Turn off the heat and set aside the saucepan for 5 minutes to get an all purpose flour mixture.



Use grease or canola oil to coat a cake pan.



Add brown sugar, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, cocoa powder, and vegetable oil to a bowl. Stir in 1 tsp of salt. Transfer all purpose flour mixture to the bowl and mix using a whisk for 2 minutes. Add baking powder, chopped walnuts, chocolate chips to the bowl and mix using a whisk for 2 minutes to get a batter.



Transfer the batter to a cake pan.



Place the oven rack in the center of the oven and preheat to 350°F.



Put the cake pan in the hot oven and bake for 25 minutes to get a baked cake.



Turn the heat off and take the cake pan out of the oven.



Cool the cake.



Cut the baked cake..
