- 1 lb baby carrots
- 3 tbsp butter
- 2.5 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp yellow mustard
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 pinch black pepper
- 1 steamer pot
- 1 skillet
- 1 wooden spoon
Put 1.5 cups of water in a steamer pot and heat it. Add baby carrots to the pot and steam for 15 minutes.
Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Stir in the brown sugar and yellow mustard for 2 minutes with a wooden spoon. Add the cooked carrots to the mixture and stir well. Cook for 2 minutes, then season with salt and black pepper to make mustard-flavored carrots..
